Carmen, 14, is an energetic teen whose favorite activities include baseball, football, bike riding and fishing.. Carmen also likes NASCAR and country music. Recently he found a new hobby—gardening. He loves to help his foster mother in their yard.

In the 7th grade, Carmen receives special education services and benefits from the small class size and individual attention. Last year his academic achievements earned him the Most Improved Student of the Year award. He is a member of his school’s football and wrestling teams.

The ideal home for Carmen would be a two-parent family that would provide the structure and supervision he needs. He is eligible for financial subsidy
